LinkedIn Post — ML Interview Prep Kit Launch

Version A: Problem-first hook

I spent 6 months preparing for ML/AI interviews. Somewhere around tab #47 and my third abandoned Notion database, I realized: the problem isn’t a lack of resources. It’s the absence of a system.

So I built one. And now I’m open-sourcing it.

ML Interview Prep Kit — a comprehensive toolkit for ML/AI/Data Science interview preparation:

📚 100+ topics across 14 categories (ML foundations → LLMs → Agentic AI → MLOps) 🧠 Interactive mind map to visualize everything you know (and don’t) 📋 Interview tracking templates with 10 design decisions baked in 💼 Career frameworks — offer decision matrix, negotiation tactics, STAR methodology 🤖 AI prompt templates that work with Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT

Every topic has two layers: a quick-reference table for revision, and a detailed explanation with interview phrasing you can actually say out loud.

The knowledge base isn’t a textbook summary — it grew from real interviews. Every question I couldn’t answer well became a new section or expansion.

MIT licensed. Fork it, make it yours, and add your own topics.

If you’re prepping for ML interviews — or know someone who is — I hope this saves you some of the chaos I went through.

Version B: Personal story hook

What started as messy interview notes in a markdown file became a 100+ topic knowledge base, an interactive mind map, and an open-source toolkit.

6 months of real ML/AI interviews taught me that the hardest part isn’t knowing the material — it’s organizing it so you can actually retrieve it under pressure.

I built ML Interview Prep Kit to solve this:

🧠 Interactive mind map at interview.prasanth.io — see all 100+ topics and how they connect 📚 Two-layer knowledge base — quick reference + deep dives with interview phrasing 📋 5 interview tracking templates — research, rounds, prep tracker, quick ref, postmortem 💼 Career frameworks — offer comparison, negotiation, STAR stories 🤖 AI prompt templates for prep workflows (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) 🛡️ PII scanner — safely add your own notes without accidentally committing company names

The mind map is auto-generated from the knowledge base. Edit the markdown, run one command, and the visualization updates. No manual syncing.

Now open-source (MIT): 🔗 interview.prasanth.io 🔗 github.com/prasanth-ntu/ml-interview-prep-kit

Fork it, add your own topics, track your own pipelines.

Version C: Shortest / punchiest

I open-sourced my ML interview prep system.

100+ topics. Interactive mind map. Interview tracking templates. Career frameworks. AI prompt templates.

Built over 6 months of real interviews. Every topic I couldn’t answer well became a new section.
